The Artnovion Cinema Series is flexible and beautiful. It can be adapted to a wide variety of environments and tailored into multifunctional designs.
Different elements can be connected in a variety of geometric patterns to generate unpredictable and (a)symmetric designs using a discreet modular installation system. This modular system uses four different wooden cores: an Absorber, Diffuser, Bass Trap, and Speaker options. Each provides distinct functionality while keeping the same design.
The acoustic covers can be easily swapped or replaced.
Absorbers remove energy from incoming sound waves, reducing reflections and overall reverberation time. Diffusers scatter energy over a wide area, creating more homogenous sound fields. Bass Traps reduce low frequency room modes, diminishing the effect of standing waves. Speaker cores seamlessly integrate in-wall speakers. The Artnovion range of diffusers and absorbers are perfect for the high-end home cinema experience.
Absorbers like the Komodo absorber, which is an innovative wooden panel with an acoustically optimised perforation pattern that plays with sound radiation, offer reflection and reverberation control. Komodo is turned to work at mid-range frequencies, making it an effective tool for optimising speech intelligibility.
Other options include the Saraha range, the Atlantis Flow options or the Andrea and Loa Absorber ranges. These systems are designed to control reflections, treat a broadband range of frequencies, reduce excessive room reverberation and solve issues such as flutter echoes or comb filtering.
